Fen23 is a web directory operating in the style of a wire service bureau — filing and clearing web addresses across 22 subject desks, each maintained to the same editorial standard.
The directory was built on a straightforward premise: a cleared list of active addresses, organised by subject, is more useful than an algorithm-ranked feed of promoted results. Eight hundred thirty-one sites are currently on the wire, covering sectors from the Gaming Desk to Health & Medicine, Finance & Markets, and Press & Media.
Every submission passes through an editorial review before it appears in the directory. The Fen23 desk checks that the submitted address is active, that the category assignment is accurate, and that the entry meets minimum quality standards. There are no paid placements in the main index.
Fen23 does not rank or score its listings. It files them. Within each category, entries appear in the order they cleared the desk — the same principle a wire service uses when filing dispatches. The most recent entries appear at the top of the recently added feed on the home page.
Submitting a site is free. There is no registration required, no account to create. Fill in the address and category, and the submission goes into the review queue. The Fen23 desk works through the queue in order and will update the listing once it has cleared.
